IPTV price in the USA: how much IPTV really costs in 2026

IPTV prices vary widely between providers, but the math is the same everywhere: the longer the plan and the fewer the screens, the lower the cost per month. Ours runs from $4.17 to $10 a month for one screen. Here is what drives the IPTV price, the extra costs to plan for, and how to compare offers fairly.

The IPTV price you pay depends on two choices: how many months you pay for at once and how many devices can watch at the same time. With BestIPTVforUSA, one screen costs between $4.17 and $10 a month depending on the plan length. The headline price is only part of the story, so this guide also covers the small extra costs and the checks that matter before you pay. If you are still comparing providers in general, start with our checklist for choosing an IPTV service.

What does IPTV cost per month?

The monthly cost falls as the plan gets longer, because you pay for the whole period up front. Here are our own prices for one screen, as a concrete example of how the math works:

IPTV cost per month by plan length for one screen: $10 on 3 months, $6.25 on 1 year, $4.17 on 5 years
Plan length Total price (1 screen) Cost per month
3 months $30 $10.00
6 months $50 $8.33
1 year $75 $6.25
2 years $130 $5.42
5 years $250 $4.17

Prices are in US dollars and paid once. Nothing renews automatically, so the service simply ends at the end of the period unless you choose to renew.

What changes the IPTV price?

The number of screens

A screen is one device playing at the same time. Two TVs and a phone watching together need three screens. Each extra screen adds to the price. On our 1-year plan, one screen costs $75, two screens $120 and three screens $155. Count the devices that really play at the same moment in your home, not every device you own. The plans page shows the price for 1 to 6 screens.

The length of the plan

Longer plans cost less per month. The trade-off is that you commit more money up front, so only choose a long plan after you have tested the service on your own devices.

What is included

Live TV, a TV guide, movies and series on demand, catch-up and HD or 4K where the source allows it should all be part of the same plan. Be careful with offers that charge extra for the guide, for on-demand content or for 4K.

The costs nobody mentions

The subscription is not always the only payment. Plan for these before you compare offers:

  • Player app licenses. The app that plays your service is made by a separate developer. TiviMate has a free version and Smarters Player Lite is free on Apple devices; TiviMate Premium costs about $10 a year or $35 for life for up to 5 devices, with current prices on tivimate.com. IBO Player Pro has a 7-day trial, then costs about $8 once per device.
  • A streaming device. Most recent smart TVs, Fire TV sticks, Android TV boxes and Apple TVs run a player app. An older TV may need a stick, which is a one-time purchase. Our guide to the best IPTV box compares the options.
  • Your internet plan. IPTV uses the connection you already pay for. Count about 10 Mbps per HD screen and 25 Mbps per 4K screen playing at the same time; our guide to internet speed for IPTV explains how to check yours.
  • A VPN, if you choose one. It is optional and is a separate subscription.

A worked example: a household of three

Take a family with a living room TV, a bedroom TV and a teenager who watches on a phone, all at the same time in the evening. That is three screens.

Plan length Total for 3 screens Cost per month
3 months $65 $21.67
1 year $155 $12.92
2 years $275 $11.46
5 years $525 $8.75

Add one-time costs if they apply: a player app license on each TV that needs one, and a streaming stick for a TV with no suitable app. A household that already owns a recent smart TV and a phone may pay nothing extra at all.

The lesson from the table: decide the number of screens first, because it is one of the biggest choices, then pick the longest plan you are comfortable paying for after a trial.

IPTV price compared with cable

The comparison most households make is with their cable bill. A 2026 report by doxo found that US households pay a median of $125 a month for cable and satellite TV (Broadband Breakfast, August 2026). Even a short IPTV plan with several screens costs a fraction of that, and there is no box to rent and no contract. The full side-by-side comparison is in IPTV vs cable: the real monthly cost, and our guide to how much cable costs per month breaks down the cable bill itself.

How to compare IPTV prices fairly

A low price means nothing if the service does not work on your TV. Compare offers on these points, in this order:

  1. Price per month per screen, worked out from the total you pay.
  2. A free trial on your own device before you pay.
  3. A written refund policy. Ours is 48 hours if the service does not work on your device and support cannot fix it.
  4. No automatic renewal, so you decide when to pay again.
  5. Clear payment methods. Card, Apple Pay and Google Pay through a secure payment link leave you the usual card protections; be careful with requests for gift cards or transfers to a person.
  6. Real support, by email or chat, before and after you buy.

Very cheap “lifetime” offers deserve extra care, especially when they come with no trial and no refund policy: you pay once and have nothing to fall back on if the service stops. Our guide to legit IPTV services and scams lists the warning signs.

Is a cheap IPTV plan worth it?

A cheap plan is worth it when it passes the checks above. The safest way to judge is to test the service on the devices you actually use, at the times you actually watch, before paying. Start with a 24-hour free trial, then pick the plan length that fits your budget on our IPTV subscription plans page.

Questions people ask

How much is IPTV per month?

It depends on the plan length and the number of screens. With BestIPTVforUSA, one screen is $10 a month on the 3-month plan and $4.17 a month on the 5-year plan, because longer plans cost less per month.

Do you have to pay monthly for IPTV?

Not always. Many providers, including us, sell plans paid once for 3, 6, 12, 24 or 60 months. Nothing renews automatically with BestIPTVforUSA, so you are never charged again unless you choose to renew.

How much does an IPTV subscription cost per year?

A one-year plan for one screen costs $75 with BestIPTVforUSA, which is $6.25 a month. Each extra screen raises the price; the full table is on our plans page.

What is the cheapest IPTV provider?

The cheapest offer is rarely the best value. Very low prices often come with no trial, no refund and no support. Compare the price per month per screen together with a free trial and a written refund policy.

Are there costs on top of the IPTV subscription?

Sometimes. Player apps such as IBO Player Pro charge a small one-time license per device, TiviMate Premium is optional, and an older TV may need a streaming stick. Your internet plan is the other cost to check.
