Formuler Z10 for IPTV in 2026: still worth it?

Every Formuler Z10 runs IPTV through Formuler's own MyTVOnline 2 app and outputs 4K. Whether it is worth buying in 2026 depends on the version: they differ most in storage, Wi-Fi and Ethernet speed.

The Formuler Z10 is still a capable IPTV box in 2026: every version runs Android 10, outputs 4K and ships with Formuler’s own MyTVOnline 2 app, which shows channels, the TV guide and on-demand titles in one place. Whether it is worth buying depends on the version. The five Z10 models differ most in storage, Wi-Fi and Ethernet, and the newer Z12 line brings Android 12 and faster wireless. All specifications below come from Formuler’s product pages.

The Formuler Z10 versions compared

Formuler sells or has sold five boxes under the Z10 name. They share the same Realtek RTD1319 chip and 4K output, and differ in memory, storage and network hardware.

What the differences mean in practice:

  • Storage decides how many apps and how much guide data the box holds comfortably. The 4GB of the Neo and SE fills up quickly if you add other apps.
  • Wi-Fi matters if the box is far from the router. The Neo and SE work on 2.4 GHz only, which is more crowded and slower than the 5 GHz band the other models support.
  • Ethernet is the most reliable way to stream. A 100 Mbps port has room for an HD or 4K stream; our internet speed guide shows what each picture quality needs, and the Pro Max’s Gigabit port leaves more headroom.

How IPTV works on a Formuler Z10

A Formuler Z10 plays IPTV through MyTVOnline 2, the app Formuler installs on the box. You add your service once and the app loads live channels, the guide and on-demand titles in the same menus.

The usual setup takes about ten minutes:

  1. Connect the box to your TV with HDMI and to the internet, by cable if you can.
  2. Open MyTVOnline 2 and add a new portal with the Xtream Codes login from your provider’s welcome email: the server URL, your username and your password.
  3. Save, wait for the channel list and guide to load, then test a few channels.

Our Formuler and MAG setup guide walks through each step. Because a Formuler box runs Android, many models can also run other player apps, but MyTVOnline is the app Formuler built for the box and its remote.

Does a Formuler box need a subscription?

A Formuler box has no monthly fee of its own. You buy the hardware once, and it comes with no channels. To watch live TV, you add an IPTV service, which is a separate subscription from the provider you choose.

That separation also means you can change provider without changing the box: you replace the login in MyTVOnline and keep everything else. Before you subscribe anywhere, test the service on the box itself. BestIPTVforUSA offers a 24-hour free trial with an Xtream Codes login that works in MyTVOnline.

Z10 or a newer Formuler box?

The newer lines change three things: the Android version, the wireless hardware and the IPTV app. According to Formuler’s product pages, the Z11 Pro Max runs Android 11 with Wi-Fi 6 (AX), 4GB of RAM, 32GB of storage and MyTVOnline 3, while the Z12 Ultra runs Android 12 with tri-band Wi-Fi 6E, 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage (Formuler Z11 Pro Max, Formuler Z12 Ultra).

Keep your Z10 if:

  • it is connected by Ethernet or sits close to the router;
  • it has enough free storage for the apps you use;
  • the picture is stable at the quality you watch.

Consider a newer box if:

  • you rely on Wi-Fi far from the router, especially on a Neo or SE with 2.4 GHz only;
  • the box runs out of storage or feels slow when you switch apps;
  • you want the newer MyTVOnline versions or a newer Android release.

Our comparison of the Formuler Z12, Z12 Ultra and Z11 Pro Max explains which newer model fits which home.

Which Z10 fits your home?

If you already own a Z10 or find one second-hand, the version tells you what to expect:

  • Z10 Pro Max: the most comfortable of the family, with 4GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, Gigabit Ethernet and the GTV-IR1 learning remote, which can copy buttons from your TV remote.
  • Z10 Pro: a solid IPTV box with 16GB of storage and dual-band Wi-Fi; place it near the router or use the Ethernet port.
  • Z10: the same chip and app with 8GB of storage, double the Neo and SE but half the Z10 Pro.
  • Z10 Neo and Z10 SE: entry boxes with 4GB of storage and 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi only; use them with a cable and keep extra apps to a minimum.

Whichever model you have, the IPTV side works the same way: one Xtream Codes login in MyTVOnline 2.

Is the Formuler Z10 worth buying in 2026?

As a used or discounted box, a Z10 Pro or Z10 Pro Max is still a sensible IPTV receiver, especially on a wired connection. The Neo and SE are harder to recommend new: 4GB of storage and 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi leave little room. If you are buying new, compare the price with the current Z12 models first.
