How does IPTV work on a MAG box?

A MAG box has no app to install: it connects to a portal. You send us the box’s MAC address, we link it to your subscription and reply with a portal URL, and you enter that address once in the box’s settings. MAG boxes are made by Infomir; Formuler boxes and MyTVOnline come from Formuler.
Formuler boxes (Z and S series) come with MyTVOnline, which signs in with the server URL, username and password from your welcome email. STB Emulator gives any Android device the same portal setup as a MAG box.

Built-in portal on MAG Box

On the MAG box, open Settings, then System Settings, and note the MAC address. It is also printed on the label under the box and looks like 00:1A:79:xx:xx:xx

Email us that MAC address.

We register it and reply with your portal URL. It looks like http://portal.example.com/c

Enter that address in System Settings, then Servers, then Portals, and save.

Restart the box and start watching.

MyTVOnline on Formuler

Turn on the Formuler box and open MyTVOnline, which comes pre-installed.

Open Settings (or Menu), then Portal Settings, then Add Portal.

Give the portal any name (for example BestIPTVforUSA) and choose Xtream Codes API as the login type.

Enter the server URL, username and password from your welcome email.

Save and connect. Your channels load and you can start watching.

STB Emulator on STB Emu

Install STB Emulator (free) or STBEmu Pro (paid, no ads) from Google Play. On Fire TV and other Android boxes, install it with Downloader.

Open it, then Settings, Profiles, Add profile, and give the profile any name (for example BestIPTVforUSA).

Open STB Configuration and note the MAC address. It looks like 00:1A:79:xx:xx:xx

Email us that MAC address.

Quick fixes for the problems people hit most.
Video keeps buffering
Check your internet speed: 4K needs a fast, steady connection. Switch to FHD or HD on slower networks, or restart your router.
Channels won’t load
Check the server URL, username and password for typos. They are case-sensitive, so type them again carefully.
The app is frozen
Close the app and open it again. If it still freezes, restart the device, then open the app.
The app won’t activate
Email your device ID and key screenshot again and we will reactivate it straight away.
Where do I find the MAC address on a MAG box?
On the label under the box, or in Settings, then System Settings. It starts with 00:1A:79.
How long does portal activation take?
Usually a few minutes after we receive your MAC address, any time of day.
Which Formuler should I buy for IPTV?
Any current Z-series model runs MyTVOnline. Pick a 4K model if you have a 4K TV.
Can I move my subscription to a new MAG box?
Yes. Send us the new MAC address and we move the portal link to it.
STB Emulator says “portal not available”.
Check the portal URL for typos and that the MAC in STB Configuration matches the one you sent us. Then choose Reload portal.
